Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using www.bonfire.cc ("the Site") operated by Bonfire Health Pte. Ltd. ("us", "we", or "our"). This Agreement sets out the terms and conditions that apply to your use of the Site.

By accessing or using the Site, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Site or contributing content or other materials to the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and, if you are an employee or an agent acting for a third party, to bind your employer or that third party to these Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms are defined in this Agreement.

Client Informed Consent

These Terms govern the use of our website and the psychological services our panel provide to you (“Services”). You can find our updated panel of clinics, providers and partners here. We reserve the right to update our panel on an ongoing basis. By continuing to access our website or use our Services, you are agreeing to these terms as they may apply to you.

  • Risks of the Internet

    • We take effort in maintaining the security of our website. For example, we arrange for commercially reasonable encryption, firewall, antivirus, malware and spyware protection. However, we cannot and do not guarantee that security of your data, our records and information, or other interactions with our website will be free of viruses, malware or other codes that may corrupt or infect your computer. We disclaim all liability for any such technological problems that we do not intentionally cause. You are encouraged to install and maintain up-to-date security software on your computer. To the best of our knowledge, we believe that the information and materials we present on this website is accurate, but you must not rely upon it for any purpose without seeking independent medical or professional advice.

  • Mental Health Disclaimer

    • The psychoeducational content we provide is intended for your general knowledge only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment, or therapy for mental health conditions. You must not use this information to diagnose or address a health problem or disease without consulting with a trained psychologist.

  • Misuse

    • Do not misuse our Services. For example, do not interfere with our Services or try to use our Services in a manner prohibited by law. You may use our Services only as permitted by law, including applicable defamation, copyright and publication laws. We may suspend or stop providing our Services to you if you do not comply with our terms or policies or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.

  • Psychological Services

    • These Terms specifically govern the psychological services provided to you, including any ancillary service:

      • For Telehealth Services

        • Telehealth consultations are not suitable for all psychological presentations. We may cancel or withdraw from the telehealth consultation for any reason if its provision is deemed clinically unsafe or ethically inappropriate.

      • For Externally Managed Panel Clinics/Providers/Partners

        • We offer concierge and clinical referral services by working with a panel of externally managed clinics, providers and partners. Any direct agreement for psychological services with our panel beyond those stated here, exists between you and the external psychological services provider. Please also review the terms of the external psychological services provider.

      • Personal Information

        • All information you provide to us must be true and accurate.

        • You should not impersonate someone else or provide us with contact details other than your own. If you are enquiring or retaining our Services on behalf of another person, please make this clear in your communication with us.

        • Clinical Assessments and psychotherapy are most effective when the information provided is relevant, accurate and comprehensive.

        • As part of providing a psychological service to you, your psychologist will collect and record your personal information. You may choose not to disclose certain information to your psychologist, but this may adversely affect the outcome of psychological intervention.

      • Confidentiality

        • Your personal information will remain confidential except where otherwise compelled by law or court order. This includes any information that would threaten or place any individual’s safety, physical or mental health, at immediate or grave harm.

        • In addition, we may release some or all of your personal information if you request that we communicate this with another healthcare professional (e.g. a psychiatrist, GP, or another clinical psychologist), your lawyers, or another person (e.g. a family member or employer). This may take the form of a report, clinical notes or verbal discussions. All material, electronic or otherwise, remain the property of the external psychological services provider.

      • Sessions

        • During your consultation or session, your psychologist may perform all such administrative matters as part of the psychological service as may be efficacious, including schedule follow-up consultations, discuss your therapy plan, or seek or communicate important information with persons you authorise us to do so.

        • Time spent on such matters are integral to a psychological service and is part of your consultation or session.

        • Appointment Operating Hours are based on our panel's decisions. Please liaise with your appointed provider for their latest operating hours.

        • All consultations are strictly by appointment only. Administrative staff are in attendance only during Appointment Operating Hours.

        • Do arrive on time for your appointment. We cannot extend the duration of your appointment even if you are late. This is because there will be another client scheduled to begin after the end of your allotted time. The fees payable for your appointment remain the same regardless of the time you arrive. We do not provide refunds once a psychological service has begun.

      • Cancellation Policy

        • If you cannot make a scheduled appointment, please reschedule in advance so that another person may utilise your allotted time. We may cancel your appointment if you do not give us adequate notice and request for a cancellation or a last-minute change, or if you do not show up for a scheduled appointment (“Cancel” or “Cancellation”). You may be subject up to the fee payable for your allotted time based on the following table

Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features and functionality are owned by Bonfire and are protected by various international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or otherwise use content from our website without prior written permission from us.

Limitation of Liability

Any liability for the content or any omission on this website, including any inaccuracy, error or misstatement is expressly disclaimed. You agree that we will not be responsible for any loss, whether direct, indirect, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive or any other type of loss from the use of our website or our Services, which we hereby exclude to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Bonfire has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any third-party site that you visit.

Software Disclaimer

Our device or software is intended for use only for general well-being purposes or to encourage or maintain a healthy lifestyle, and is not intended to be used for any medical purpose (such as the detection, diagnosis, monitoring, management, or treatment of any medical condition or disease). Any health-related information provided by this device or software should not be treated as medical advice. Please consult a physician for any medical advice required.

Governing Law

If you are a business user, this Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. If you are a consumer user, nothing in this Agreement shall preclude you from access to the courts and laws of your place of usual residence.

Changes To This Agreement

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by providing reasonable notice of any material changes. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or continue to access the Site or discontinue any use of the Site immediately.

Data Protection
