Working with Children and Teens: Chelsea has more than 27 years of experience as an educational/ (counselling) psychologist. She started as a behavioural therapist for autistic children, and then worked with students with learning and mental health issues in schools. She also worked at School Health Services, counselling students dealing with emotional difficulties and relationship issues with their families or friends. She had stints in the Child Guidance Clinic (IMH), the Dyslexia Association of Singapore, preschools, and early intervention centres for children with various needs.

Lecturing: Chelsea has also taught psychologists at the Masters level and trained teachers while a full-time lecturer at NIE previously. She has lectured on psychological testing, counselling techniques, and psychological disorders. She has also supervised many budding psychologists.

Orientation: Chelsea has helped many children, teenagers, and adults improve their psychological outcomes and overall functioning. As a psychologist, she is astute, results-oriented, and committed to the people she helps. Chelsea utilises a variety of approaches to work with her clients across the age range, including cognitive-behaviour therapy, behaviour therapy, interpersonal therapy, schema therapy, and reality therapy. She is adapt at harnessing techniques from various approaches as needed.
