Dr Beron Tan is a senior clinical psychologist with a Master of Clinical Psychology and PhD. He received clinical and research training in Perth, Western Australia. Dr Tan provides psychological assessment and interventions to children, adolescents and adults. His therapeutic approaches included interpersonal psychotherapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, schema therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and CBT.

Dr Tan is the recipient of the prestigious Australian Psychological Society Prize Award and the ECU International Postgraduate Research Scholarship for his academic excellence. He also received other clinical and research awards from KKH and SingHealth including excellent patient service and innovative excellence in patient care, and research grants.

Dr Tan's previous leadership role at KK Hospital led to academic publications and substantial fundings for enhancing psychosocial care standards for individuals with childhood cancers and their caregivers in Singapore. His contributions led to the development of Singapore’s first evidence-based psychosocial support programme for childhood cancers and establishing the protocols now used at KK hospital.
