Dr Adrian Loh is a psychiatrist with over a decade of experience in general psychiatry, particularly in Singapore's public sector at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) and various general hospitals. Specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, he completed a clinical fellowship at the University of British Columbia in 2014 and subsequently served as a consultant at IMH’s Child Guidance Clinic, overseeing the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Clinic. Dr. Loh treated patients with a range of conditions including anxiety and mood disorders, tic disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). He continues to contribute as a Visiting Consultant at IMH and as adjunct faculty with both IMH and the National University of Singapore’s Department of Psychological Medicine, training family doctors and medical students.
He actively contributes to various professional committees, including the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Section of the Academy of Medicine, the Singapore Psychiatric Association, and the National Council Against Drug Abuse. Dr. Loh emphasizes a holistic and respectful approach to patient care, considering family, social norms, cultural practices, and spiritual beliefs. He values collaboration with other care providers to enhance patient well-being and is dedicated to learning from his patients’ recovery journeys.
