Geraldine is a highly experienced clinical psychologist with nearly 25 years of practice. She holds a Doctorate in Psychology from California and a Master's in Applied Psychology from Singapore. Geraldine is skilled in various therapeutic techniques, including Choice and Reality Therapy (CTRT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She also incorporates methods like Hypnotherapy and Artistic Therapies (Play, Clay, Sand, and Colour Therapy) in her practice, helping clients ranging from children with learning disabilities to adults facing issues like depression, anxiety, and personality disorders.
Geraldine conducts psychological testing for cognitive functioning, personality, and job suitability. She is a well-known figure in the media, regularly featured to educate the public on psychological disorders. She appears on the popular "Therapy Tuesdays" segment on Kiss92, a local radio station.
Known as the "People’s Psychologist," Geraldine is passionate about education and mentorship. She is a registered supervisor with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP) and supervises students in local and international universities. She is actively involved in professional bodies such as the William Glasser Institute, EMDR Singapore, and the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA). She has received several awards, including the Sheroes Award (2019), Singapore 40-over-40 (2023), and Voice of Loving Kindness (VoLK) by Singapore Kindness Movement this year (2024), in recognition of her contributions to the field.
